| Abstract: | This presentation features the results from eight formal usability tests of EBSCO’s new "visual search" and "traditional search" interfaces. Audio, video, and screen capture software, and pre- and post-test surveys were used to analyze the sessions and determine students’ success and satisfaction levels during given research tasks. |
| Description: | Jody Condit Fagan is the Digital Services Librarian at James Madison University. Previously, she was an Associate Professor and Reference Librarian at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. Her research interests include digital reference, user interfaces, and pretty much anything involved in helping folks in the digital environment. |
