Abstract: The lecture reviews the various process technology options for physical and chemical recycling of PET, along with business opportunities for entrepreneurs in different countries to set up 'eco-friendly' industries producing useful value-added products from PET waste. The various issues relevant to carrying out a techno-commercial assessment of a PET recycling project, with respect to its technical feasibility and economic viability, will be discussed.
