| Abstract: | During the summer of 2005, students in the Languages for Business and Technology (LBAT) - Germany program studied for six weeks in German region of Bavaria and the city of Munich. Working in small groups with the assistance of German tutors, they learned about current issues facing German businesses through site visits to BMV and Siemens. They experienced a varied cultural program including excursions to sites such as the historical marketplace, Viktualien Markt and Germany’s National Garden Festival, BUGA 2005. This is an account of their summer in Bavaria. |
