| Abstract: | As the largest of nine schools
and departments in the
College of Engineering and
the largest individual school
at Georgia Tech, the School
of ECE has a critical role in
helping the Institute achieve
its vision “to define the technological
research university
of the 21st century and educate
the leaders of a technologically
driven world.” It is in the context
of this strategic plan that ECE
will work to advance the vision of
Georgia Tech.
Over the next five years, the
following seven objectives
will guide ECE:
1. Technical- and leadership-based
curriculum;
2. Top student recruitment;
3. Interdisciplinary research;
4. Faculty recruitment,
development, and retention;
5. Commercialization;
6. Global expansion;
7. Enhanced visibility. |
