The 2008 Dean’s Symposium will focus on the multiple influences that led to the building of Renaissance Florence, the framework that was created to achieve its realization, the influence that the design and construction of the Duomo exerted on subsequent works of architecture and construction, as well as the social and economic organization that we understand today as the Renaissance

Support for the symposium is generously provided by Pat Jones and Draper & Associates in recognition of the interconnectivity of architecture and building construction.

Additional support is provided by the Georgia Tech College of Architecture Alumni Committee.
