| Description: | Rafael Sacks is an Associate Professor in Construction Management at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. He has researched information technologies for structural engineering and for construction since graduating from MIT in 1985. During that time, he also gained many years experience in industry developing rebar detailing and other software plug-ins for CAD systems, as well as managing construction projects. Rafael leads the BIM Laboratory at the Israel National Building Research Institute and is involved in industry consortiums specifying next-generation BIM tools.
