All seniors in the Stewart School of ISyE culminate their undergraduate educational experience with a capstone course called Senior Design. This course provides students with firsthand experience at solving real-world problems in a team environment. Student teams select a major design project from a company or not-for-profit organization and exploit all available resources in order to develop a solution for the project client.

Just before finals week the Senior Design Professor choose 3 to 6 students teams (the best projects of that semester) to present their projects to a room full of faculty, students, project sponsors, and family members.
