OSP provides research faculty with full-service "cradle to grave" support and administration for all research contracts and grants at the Georgia Institute of Technology through a number of functional units. OSP’s seven functional units are:

• Research Administration, Communications, Training and Technologies (ReACTT)
• Industry Contracting
• the Federal Division (NSF, NIH, DOE, NASA, etc)
• the SubContracting Division
• the Industry Flow Through & International Division
• the Department of Defense Division
• the Universities, Foundations, State and Local Government Division.
