I.                    Present: Tom Morley (Chair), Mary-Frances Panettiere (Faculty member), Danielle McDonald (Student Affairs Representative, Secretary), Gregory Abowd (Faculty member), Jude LeBlance (Faculty member), Barbara Henry (Faculty Senate Liasion)

 

Guests: Hsingching Hsu (Women’s Ultimate), Matt Ridley (Pride Alliance), Martin Wiggins (Christian Interministry Council), Jonathan Jackson (Christian Interministry Council)

 

II.                 Old Business

 

A. Approve minutes from February 27, 2003

Gregory moved and Mary-Frances seconded the motion to approve the minutes from February 27, 2003.

 

Unanimously approved

 

B. Tabled Charters:

 

Table Tennis Club – tabled for lack of represenative

Women’s Ultimate

Discussion:  Struck a reading of the proposed amendment to keep in line with written notification requirement.

 

Gregory moved and Jude seconded the motion to approve the charter of Women’s Ultimate Club with suggested changes

 

Unanimously approved

Sportsriders

Discussion: changed dues to statement to read that dues would be set at the beginning of each year.

 

Jude moved and Mary-Frances seconded the motion to approve the charter of Sportsriders with the suggested changes

 

Unanimously approved

C.                 Tabled Constitutional Amendments

 

Pride Alliance

Changes: Changed name, change from co presidents to one president and made changes in line with JCOC policy.

 

Discussion: Take out Section A VIII because of redundancy

 

Mary-Frances moved and Gregory seconded the motion to approve the constitutional amendments with the suggested changes.

 

Unanimously approved

III.               New Business

 

A.  Charters for Consideration

 

Campus Interministry Council

Discussion:  Wordy preamble, take off appointed in Article IIX Section 3

 

Danielle moved and Jude seconded the motion to approve the charter with changes.

 

Unanimously approved

 

IV.              Other

Everyone agreed to meet during the summer if needed to get through all the pending organizations.
