MINUTES OF THE GRADUATE CURRICULUM COMMITTEE MEETING

August 29, 2002

PRESENT: Green (MATH), Hertel (ME), Jagoda (AE), Vekateswaran (COC), McIver (REG), Parsons (MGT), QU (ME), Sanders (MSE), WILL (CEE)

VISITORS: None

1. A motion was made to approve the May 14, 2002 and the August 1, 2002 minutes. The motion was seconded and approved. Unanimous.

2. Tom Sanders agreed to continue to represent the Committee on the Studies Abroad sub-committee.

3. Minami Yoda was appointed to be the Committee representative on the Institute Review Committee.

4. The request by the SCHOOL OF CHEMICAL ENGINEERING for a BS/MS option and a non-thesis option for the Masters degree was tabled.

5. Bill Green was elected chair of the Committee by acclamation.

6. Tom Sanders was elected vice-chair of the Committee by acclamation.
