MINUTES OF THE SAFA MEETING

February 25, 2003

PRESENT: Begovic (ECE), Bramblett (IRP), Hamm (IRP), Johnson (ML), Kurtis (CE), Usselman (HTS)

VISITORS: None

1. A motion was made to approve the minutes of the February 6, 2003 meeting. The motion was seconded and approved. Unanimous.

2. Begovic distributed a draft of the report on grade inflation. There was discussion on the data that was included in the draft and what data should be included in the Committee’s report. The draft copy will be distributed electronically so that committee members can make corrections and suggestions with tracking. A progress report will be made to the Executive Board on March 11, 2003. The full report will be presented at the April Academic Senate meeting.
