Committee Overview

 

1. Committee held 37 hearings, involving 56 students, last year

2. Alternates recruited to handle caseload (6 student alternates; 14 faculty member alternates)

3. Of these cases, 9 were appealed to Student Grievance and Appeal Committee and Vice President Wilcox – none overturned

4.            In fall 2003, committee size increased to 12 faculty members; 9 students (6 undergraduates; 3 graduate students) with requirements for quorum unchanged (3 faculty, 2 students)

5.            Cheryl Contant re-elected Chair of Student Honor Committee for AY2003-04
