dc.description.abstractStarting up any business presents a host of special challenges -- especially a recycle business where there is no prior template. This talk will focus on the realities DuPont faced in creating a closed-loop process and infrastructure for recycling of carpets. Particular emphasis will be placed on design concepts, economic drivers, and associated technology, with particular focus on DuPont's proprietary aminolysis process for recycling of Nylon 6 & 66.
