During the academic year 2002-03, the School of Public Policy at Georgia Tech went through the Institute’s program review process. This comprehensive review process includes the creation of a program or unit self-study; an external site visit by a team of qualified peers that results in an external reviewers’ report; any commentary from the dean or from the school on the report of the external reviewers; a review of the curricula within the program or unit by the appropriate faculty bodies (the Institute Graduate Committee or the Institute Undergraduate Curriculum Committee); and a review and synthesis of all review materials by the Institute Review Committee.
