dc.description.abstractA quality enhancement plan submitted by the Georgia Institute of Technology to the Commission on Colleges Southern Association of Schools and Colleges March 2005. It describes two initiatives. The first initiative, referred to as the International Plan, seeks to increase the number of undergraduate students who graduate with global competence in the international practice of their major. The second initiative seeks to increase the number of undergraduate students participating in research and encourage more students to pursue a research career.
