Women in Engineering at Georgia Tech (WIE) challenges and inspires women to achieve their fullest potential as engineers and as leaders
Goals:
- Develop initiatives designed to increase the number of women in engineering majors and careers
- Encourage undergraduate women to graduate studies
- Provide opportunities for women engineering students to develop leadership skills
- Enhance the overall experience of graduate women and facilitate their entry into careers in academia, research and industry
- Foster a dynamic environment that encourages the personal and professional development of all engineering students
The Georgia Tech Women in Engineering (WIE) program offers programs and conferences that allow female students from K-12 and undecided engineering students at Georgia Tech to investigate engineering majors and careers in engineering at Georgia Tech
