Scientists as Entrepreneurs - Do They Fit the Stereotype?

Scientists are exhorted to be more entrepreneurial yet whether they display entrepreneurial characteristics, such as risk taking and ambiguity tolerance, is not studied. We mapped how Institute researchers perceived commercialization risk, whether prior activities influenced that perception, and whether those that were more positive towards this activity displayed the trait of higher ambiguity tolerance.
