Abstract: Brian Hammer from the Georgia Tech School of Biology joins us to talk about the fascinating behavior of bacteria. While he specifically studies the bacteria the causes cholera, we will learn about how variations in your own bacteria populations can affect your health and how bacteria can change their own gene expression in response to their local population.
