dc.description.abstract | The goal of this study is to retrieve useful information about the reactions of listeners to different recording techniques, namely binaural and stereo. This has been done comparing different mixes of the same song. Each mix is obtained from stereophonic and binaural recordings, or processing proximity recordings with stereo panning, binaural synthesis or a hybrid approach. The comparison is made through listening tests with headphones and an analysis of subjects' reactions and meaningful subjective parameters ratings. | en_US |
