Presented at the 11th International Conference on Auditory Display (ICAD2005)en_US
Designing for the mobile device currently allows for the exploration of additional dimensions beyond that of simple graphic treatment. The relationship between two of these dimensions, audio and haptics is discussed here. A method for creation of content for the generation of audio-haptic feedback is discussed. A particular evaluation of such content and its application to design for the auditory and haptic correlate is offered. General observations on this work and the need for further exploration are described.en_US
