    Abstract
The work of London based architectural studio Haworth Tompkins is founded on the belief in the potential of new architecture to bring about positive change. In this talk, founding Design Director Graham Haworth outlines the studio’s design approach through an exploration of their working practice of Adaptation and Transformation, illustrating how their architecture aims to create a freedom to move between Lo-Fi and Hi-Fi and engage with the more ambiguous and less precise areas of reality, through thoughtful adjustment, remodeling and recalibration with the occasional technical flaw, distortion, background noise and hum.
