dc.description.abstractNaphthalene diimide (NDI) compounds can be functionalized with tin reagent to provide a useful, versatile synthetic tool. One embodiment provides, for example, a composition comprising at least one NDI compound comprising at least one stannyl substituent bonded to the naphthalene moiety of the NDI compound. Applications include organic electronic devices including OLED, OPV, OFET, and sensing devices.
