    Abstract
Success in language learning is largely dependent on the ability to acquire vocabulary in the second language. Sadly, vocabulary acquisition appears to be one of the more challenging aspects of language learning. In recent times, educators try to facilitate second language vocabulary acquisition using educational technology. One of such tools used is game-based learning. This study seeks to explore the effectiveness of digital games in second language vocabulary learning.
