Description: Former U.S. Ambassador to NATO Kurt Volker presented a talk on Tuesday, April 14, 2011, 9:30am - 11:00am in the Instructional Center, Room 205. Ambassador Kurt Volker was US Ambassador to NATO for the period 2008-2009. He also served in US Embassy's in London and Budapest and at the US State Department, National Security Council, and on the staff of Senator John McCain. Ambassador Volker is currently a Senior Advisor to the International Security Program and member of the Atlantic Council's Strategic Advisors Group; he is also the Senior Fellow and Managing Director of the Center on Transatlantic Relations at the Johns Hopkins University's School of Advanced International Studies.
