Center for Assistive Technology and Environmental Access (CATEA)

 

Through education and innovation, the Center for Assistive Technology and Environmental Access (CATEA) promotes the independence and participation of people with disabilities. CATEA advances its mission through a variety of projects that focus on:

  • Research and development
  • Information dissemination
  • Training and education
  • Design and technology improvement

CATEA, which was formerly known as the Center for Rehabilitation Technology, has been a multidisciplinary center in the College of Architecture at Georgia Tech since the early 1980s.
